From our first meeting with Mark through to the day he completed the last task on our custom built house, Mark was always thoroughly professional, approachable, cheerful, and focused on getting the job done with the best balance of time, budget, and quality. Frank is a cabinetmaker by trade, and was the primary designer and general contractor for the house. He worked alongside Mark and his crew, doing all of the finish work. Not all contractors would be comfortable having the homeowner work on the site over such an extended project, but Mark was always respectful and inclusive while providing us with the benefit of his local contacts and his extensive experience of building on the coast. He suggested many of our favourite features, and always took the time to explain his ideas without being in the least pushy or domineering. He always listened carefully to our wishes and ideas, and did his very best to incorporate everything we wanted in our home. His crew members were not only skilled and hard-working, but also respectful--they were friendly and gentlemanly in their conduct, and careful to keep the building site clean and safe throughout the build.
We are happy to say that Mark became and continues to be so much more than our builder--he is a friend, one we are delighted to support with our hearty recommendation. You won't do better with any other builder on the Sunshine Coast.

Seven years ago Mark Huson tackled the complete renovation of Penny & my home in Wilson Creek. The project was difficult, and required tremendous creative talent as the house had a great frame work but was poorly finished, 15 years old and tired out. Mark tore the entire home apart pulling off siding to add rain screening and new Hardyboard siding, to reconfiguring the interior to better suit our needs. Moving the fireplace, tearing down and replacing walls, windows, doors, decking , adding crafted woodwork throughout has made this a very special place. Mark was there every morning before 8am and worked hard to the end of every day. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone, he is a conscious and honest person and will give you great value for your dollars.
